Making cooking and eating, fun, easy and healthy
Welcome!
We invite you to sign up to join us in a Culinary Medicine Cooking Class series. The series will include:
• Four virtual hands-on cooking classes with our chef and registered dietitian, which focus on:
- Understanding why it is so important to cook healthy
- Preparing recipes that are delicious, affordable and packed with nutrients
- Practicing various cooking skills, through the guidance of our chef
• A box of produce and pantry items, each week, to be used during the class (total of four boxes)
Why is it important to learn how to cook and eat nutritious food?
• It can mean less injuries, sickness and trips to the doctor
• Eating well improves brain function for both kids and adults
• It can help to prevent and reverse various lifestyle diseases
