Mercy Medical Explorers Registration Fall 2024

Mercy - Springfield Medical Explorer Post #339 is a youth healthcare career exploration program jointly sponsored by Mercy Hospital Springfield and the Boy Scouts of America Exploring Program. The overall purpose of Medical Explorers is to provide worksite-based experiences for students ages 14 through 20. Education through observation enables youth to make an informed career decision. Cohorts will take place during the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
Explorer candidates applying for the Fall 2024 session must attend the mandatory orientation on August 12, 2024 at 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Mercy Hospital Springfield in the Hammons Heart Institute Auditorium. Candidates must submit their completed copies of the Mercy Medical Explorer Application AND the Youth Application (to SPRGMedicalExplorers@mercy.net) prior to orientation. Yearly dues must also be paid prior to orientation using this online registration site. Registration fees may be paid online by credit/debit card only. We are unable to accept cash or check payments.
