Meet the Buyers Open House

Spectrum Health is collaborating with the City of Grand Rapids Office of Diversity and Inclusion to connect with diverse, and local businesses at our first annual “Meet the Buyers” event. This year we're partnering with Grand Valley State University, Good for Michigan, and the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council to further align organizations focused on this important work. 

Educational Workshop
From 1-2 pm, Alice Jasper of Good For Michigan and Andrew Sims of the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council will be co-facilitating a workshop for purchasing managers on how spending locally with diverse vendors grows the greater economy. Learn more 

Meet the Buyers Event Details 
With the annual combined spending power of more than $1.2 billion, Spectrum Health, the City and Grand Valley State University are seeking to connect with local suppliers who can meet their purchasing needs. This event will offer local businesses access to speak directly with our purchasing departments listed below. Purchasing stakeholders can answer all questions to best prepare vendors for bidding opportunities with their departments or organizations. The Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council will also have a table to connect local minority suppliers to their organization and services.
